HTML5 SDK has been enhanced

We enhanced the HTML5 SDK by adopting the "Hybrid broadcast broadband TV" standard.
The new SDK (HTML v3 SDK) refers to the part of HbbTV 2.0.1 (TS 102 796 V1.4.1) related to broadcast-independent applications, and includes latest technology to meet service provider's needs, e.g. DVB-DASH streaming with HEVC, UHD, HDR and PlayReady DRM.
The new SDK is now available for developers who sign a new agreement with Panasonic (please access support page for inquiry).
For developers who already have a developer portal account:
We will stop accepting new applications developed with the old HTML5 v2 SDK (based on "Smart TV Alliance Specification 3.0.0") at the end of June 2018. But we will continue to accept updates to existing applications developed with the HTML5 v2 SDK even after June 2018.
