日本前首相安倍晉三8日上午因受到槍擊,送醫不治,享壽67歲。沒想到安倍晉三的遺孀安倍昭惠25日上午搭乘由警視廳安排的車輛時,在高速公路上竟遭到後方維安車輛追尾撞上,所幸無人員傷亡。不過,此意外發生時間,距離安倍晉三離世僅18天,而警視廳維安卻再度發生保護不周的狀況,外界批評聲浪四起。
根據《富士新聞網》報導,25日上午8時半後,安倍晉三的遺孀安倍昭惠,透過警視廳的安排,搭乘警方車輛,結果行經東京都千代田區首都高速公路時,後方另一台警視廳的維安車輛竟突然撞上安倍昭惠所搭乘的車輛。

根據東京警視廳了解,事故發生點為車道交匯處,案發時,警視廳警護課某男性巡查部長駕駛著一輛維安車輛,跟隨在安倍昭惠所搭乘的車輛後方,不過疑似是因為男警員粗心大意,未注意到前方,同時也無保持適當的行車安全距離,因此才會不小心的撞上安倍昭惠所搭乘的車輛。
警視廳針對該起事故發表聲明致歉,內容提到「未來會徹底加強培訓,以防止類似事件再度發生。」值得慶幸的是,這場意外事故並沒有造成任何人員傷亡,除了事發的2輛車子有耗損外,並未造成其他車輛的損失。
