前這子有位在美國紐約念Graphic Design的朋友回台度假，我問他念的是哪一所大學，他的學校我卻並不熟悉，畢竟美國大學實在太多了，要清楚上千所的大學是件不可能的事，其實要翻譯Graphic Design為美術設計或平面設計，都覺得不太適當，因為它的運用是非常廣的，而且它最主要還是運用電腦設計而非以往的平面設計，無論如何，要找到這類大學的排名是有些困難的，不過下列所列的學校都是在藝術設計領域上相當出名的大學或學院，其排列並非排名，而是依字母順序排列的: (但其中Rhode Island School of Design, Crankbrook Academy of Art, Yale University, Virginia Commonwealth University乃是前四名)
