台灣醫院協會理事長楊漢湶坦言，因醫院與工廠不同，護理師、藥師、檢驗師等都需專業性，人員招募本不易，再加上一例一休突上路，令不少醫院措手不及，目前又非校園畢業季，醫院缺工狀況恐更嚴重。
>楊漢湶更透露，目前不少醫院的人事、護理等單位仍搞不清勞基法新制，一例一休、加班費該怎麼計算，下周將邀請勞動部人員開說明會，短時間吸引近300人報名；他認為，未來若未找到解方，恐怕真的只能停掉假日門診。

楊漢湶也說，受到勞基法新制影響，已有醫院陸續減少周六門診，原有50診減少到10至20診；台灣私立醫療院所協會秘書長吳明彥也說，部分醫院傳出周六減診的聲浪，對只有單一醫師的開業診所而言衝擊可能更大。
