Annual meeting
Article of Incorporation amendment
Purpose: to execute tour guide (addition to make it clear)
Member qualification: someone who has “learner certificate of Beitou Community College”
Tenure of chairperson: one year, instead of two years
Disqualification of chairperson: two-thirds and above of members can overrule the chairperson when the chairperson is disqualified. If chairperson is not able to conduct his/her duties, the vice chairperson of education will succeed as the chairperson to the end of the current tenure.
Chairperson election result: Tom elected, 15 out of 20 votes
Jenny reported the financial statements.





Yvonne talked about the article “The clothing of the future is here.” She explained the applications of nanotechnology mentioned in the SC: waterproof, stain resistance, antibacterial, anti-static, and wrinkle resistance. She also pointed out the potential applications: thermal cloth, reflective vest for people working in dark environment, and flame resistance for people working in high temperature like fire fighters. Tammy and Ben also mentioned the nanotechnology is applied in medicine because the smaller molecules of medicine can be easily absorbed or transferred through human organs or skins.

Sharow talked about the article: “That’s my bag!” She briefly introduced the story and asked what you would do if someone took something of yours by mistake. 2 members said they would challenge that person and got their baggage back. However, she said she would not challenge that person because she was ashamed to do that. In addition, she shared her experience: keep the claim tag. And double check if the destination and flight number on the tag are correct to ensure your baggage will be delivered to the right place.
