About a year ago, Apple defeated WiLan in a patent infringement suit in Texas.  Today, Apple again beat down WiLan in another patent infringement action involving two LTE related patents; this time in California.  The US District Court for the Southern District of California (Judge Sabraw) held that the two patents asserted by WiLan was invalid and not infringed.

HTC was also a sued by WiLan, but HTC chose to settle out.  Kudos to Apple.
