1996 Rolex Day-Date Tapestry Dial Ref. 18238 With Papers
1996 Rolex Day-Date Tapestry Dial Ref. 18238 With Papers
$12,000
The Day-Date has been in continuous production since the mid-1950s and is one of the most recognizable Rolex watches. Throughout its history, the Day-Date has been offered in white, rose, and yellow gold as well as platinum, and it has come with a countless number of dial variations. The example we have here is arguably the most classic, a yellow-gold case housing a champagne-colored dial – but this example has a neat little twist. The dial is actually textured with what Rolex refers to as a "Tapestry" pattern, with attractive and subtle vertical lining, which sets it apart from your standard Rolex dress watch. The watch even comes with the original Rolex guarantee that describes the Tapestry dial.
1972 Rolex Red Submariner Ref. 1680
1972 Rolex Red Submariner Ref. 1680
$19,500
If your standard Rolex Submariner is considered an icon, then the "Red" Submariner is downright legendary. Rolex initially made the Submariner without a date, but in the late 1960s, the firm added a date function at three oclock, with the ref. 1680. Rolex continues to offer the Submariner with (or without) a date window over 50 years later, and its all thanks to the ref. 1680, which is why collectors go crazy for that small line of red text. This example is in great condition, with attractively colored lume and a Mark V dial, something indicated by the case number and slightly open sixes in the depth rating.
1973 Rolex Date Ref. 1511 In 18k Gold With Bark Bezel
1971 Rolex Date Ref. 1511 In 18k Gold With Bark Bezel
$5,800
In addition to the Datejust and the Day-Date, Rolex Fake Watches has another date-equipped model in its archive, known simply as the Date. This is a 34mm automatic watch with a very similar design to the Datejust – it even has a practically identical Oyster case. Rolex offered the Date in a variety of looks, and the one we have here is ref. 1511, an all-gold example with a "bark"-finished bezel. The texture of these bark bezels resembles their namesake, and they arent overly common, providing a somewhat conventional-looking watch with a little flair.
The Full Set

In addition to the three highlights above, we also have two Rolex Datejusts, one in stainless steel and another in two tone, both with quick-set date functionality, available today. Head over to the HODINKEE Shop to take
