Question: I need to work on a 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander plug in hybrid to replace the paddle shifter. It looks like some steering torque calibration may be required after removing the steering wheel. Will the Topdon Phoenix plus be able to do this and clear any codes set during the work?

Here is the clue.

If the car is from European region:
Unlocking Mitsubishi:
1. Close ignition
2. Turn on ignition
3. Press gas pedal within 10 seconds twice.
4. Perform the task you want.

This is for the European region.
If you are in US, This vehicle MAY have a secure gateway. Mitsubishi has not provided a path to this for the aftermarket, however in some cases if you ID it as a Nissan equivalent, you can unlock it with an Autoauth Nissan subscription.

Wiring diagram should confirm. But Nissan and Mitsubishi are both somewhat inconsistent. However, this year is twin platform with the T33 rogue which usually DOES have a gateway and uses Autoauth for unlock.
