Customer’s problem: Using the TopDon Rlink J2534 and Ford FJDS software. It keeps saying that my OEM software is out of date and I need to update it. I’m up to date with my laptop updates, FJDS is up to date, as is my Rlink software. I’ve uninstalled FJDS and reinstalled it and still no success. Any solution?

Here is the clue.

Ford has been having issues all week. This is NOT a TopDon issue. Also, please keep in mind the RLink j2534 DOES NOT support FEPS which is required on many older Ford PCMs for flashing. You might try forscan for this situation. The RLink works great for that software and that software is NOT dependent on Fords servers.

You may need to us REVO uninstaller to wipe out FJDS properly. Just an FYI.
