Problem:

Topdon Phoenix Smart topographical scan (topology mapping) is unstable – oscillating rapidly between 2 menus Also, the tool has a habit of rebooting itself at seemingly random times while in the middle of something. How to fix it?

Solution:

For the menu instability and random rebooting, please try the following steps first:

1). Do the updates. Check your system version and make sure the device is updated to the latest firmware. If it’s not on the newest version, please update it and monitor whether the issue continues.

2). If your device is already on the latest version, we recommend performing a factory reset and then testing it again before reinstalling all software.(tap User Info > select Settings > tap Restore Factory Settings)
