Life is a journey. It's an age-old saying, But I think it is old enough
for the Western, but not for Chinese. In Taiwan, this is just a
saying, not a belief.

We may say in this way: Life is a series of tests. Yes, whatever tests:
test for applying school, test for graduating, test for obtaining jobs;
test of divorce, test of someone who is close to us before,
but now his/her life is ended, test of no money, no property, no friend,
no family, on one can help, and, test of loneliness as well. All the
things seem like we have to conquer the obstacles stand before us
and our lives will be ended till the day we die. It is wired, right?

We are not liveing for obstacles! We even are not living for tests!

If life is a journey, then every stage, every moment is the cherishest
piece in lifetime.

We do not have to wait for the milestones stand before us and tell us:
Oh! You've got it, very well! That is, the process of our lifetime
sometimes seems to be more important than the enormous,
great milestones.

Life is a journey, I mean, life is here-and-now, therefore I am.
