（中央社記者鄭崇生邁阿密24日專電）總統蔡英文出訪抵達首站轉機地邁阿密、佛羅里達州當地選出的聯邦參議員盧比歐隨即與蔡總統會面，他說，這是要公開重申「美國與台灣的友誼及對盟邦的承諾」。

盧比歐下午近2時抵達蔡總統下榻的酒店，他在酒店大廳接受中央社記者訪問時說，就在蔡總統過境邁阿密前夕，聯邦參議院外委會以口頭表決的方式、無異議通過共同決議案，重申「台灣關係法」與「六項保證」為美台關係的基石。

他說，他選擇要來和蔡總統會面，更是要重申「美國與台灣的友誼以及對盟邦的承諾」，美國公開對台灣及台灣人民表達支持是很重要的，而國會將繼續支持台灣，尤其在軍事上、繼續支持台灣的自主防衛能力，才能讓台灣得以面對各項威脅，並捍衛自身主權。1050625
