Actually, I will use, " I don't agree with you." to show we don't share the same concept or we think differently.

I got caught in traffic jam while I was driving home.
=I was stuck in traffic jam while I was driving home.
=I got stuck in traffic jam while I was driving home.

I guess maybe " I hit the jam." share the same meaning with the examples I listed above.

Jam= traffic jam==> the traffic is heavy during the rush hours
