    To hide something from view or from public knowledge, to try to keep something secret.
        e.g.: He tried to conceal the truth about his health.

confide (verb)

    To trust, have faith (in).
    To entrust (something) to the responsibility of someone.
        e.g.: I confide this mission to you alone.
    To take (someone) into one's confidence, to speak in secret with. ( + in)
        e.g.: I could no longer keep this secret alone; I decided to confide in my brother.
    To say (something) in confidence.
        e.g.: After several drinks, I confided my problems to the barman.

consign (verb)

    To transfer to the custody of, usually for sale, transport, or safekeeping.
    To entrust to the care of another.

    Quality of cohering; of being coherent; internal consistency.

        e.g.: Because the conference room is filled, we will have our meeting in the adjacent room.
