Bee Season(2005)

Reflection

The title of the movie reminded me of another work sharing the same topic, "Akeelah and the Bee" . Despite both of them describe a girls' effort trying to achieve the championship of spelling bee, "Bee Season" featured more complicated plot, focusing on a family based on a fragile binding. Haunted past of the mother, and puzzled future of the son, the more the story went on, the sense of uncertainty went even further. The movie didn't ended up with triumph or any thing that can be describe as a happy ending but left more question behind, either religious or ones' free will, there are much more to be answered.
