Oracle Bones

Are pieces of shell or bone, normally from ox scapulae or turtle plastrons, which were used for pyromancy – a form of divination – in ancient China, mainly during the late Shang dynasty.

Jocasta

A daughter of Menoeceus and Queen consort of Thebes, Greece.

swollen

A transient abnormal enlargement of a body part or area not caused by proliferation of cells.

Icarus

Son of the master craftsman Daedalus.

Daedalus

A skillful craftsman and artisan.

Minos

A king of Crete, son of Zeus and Europa.

labyrinth

An elaborate structure designed and built by the legendary artificer Daedalus for King Minos of Crete at Knossos.


Medea
The daughter of King Aeëtes of Colchis,[1] niece of Circe, granddaughter of the sun god Helios, and later wife to the hero Jason, with whom she had two children, Mermeros and Pheres.
