aerospace (noun)

    The atmosphere of the Earth and the region of space around it.
    The industry concerned with aircraft, missiles, satellites and spacecraft.

affiliate (noun)

    Someone or something that is affiliated, or associated; a member of a group of associated things.
        e.g.: The local channel was an affiliate of a national network.

aisle (noun)

    A wing of a building, notably in a church separated from the nave proper by piers.
    A clear path through rows of seating.
    A clear corridor in a supermarket with shelves on both sides containing goods for sale.
    Any path through an otherwise obstructed space.

nave (noun)

    The middle or body of a church, extending from the transepts to the principal entrances.

hub (noun)

    The central part, usually cylindrical, of a wheel; the nave.
    A point where many routes meet and traffic is distributed, dispensed or diverted.
        e.g.: Hongkong airport is one of the most important air traffic hubs in Asia

optimum (noun)

    The best or most favorable condition, or the greatest amount or degree possible under specific sets of comparable circumstances.

vulgar (adjective)

    Debased, uncouth, distasteful, obscene.
    Having to do with ordinary, common people.

waive (verb)

    To relinquish (a right etc.); to give up claim to; to forego.
        e.g.: If you waive the right to be silent, anything you say can be used against you in a court

of law.

anecdote (noun)

    A short account of an incident, often humorous.
    An account which supports an argument, but which is not supported by scientific or statistical analysis.
    A previously untold secret account of an incident.

concede (verb)

    To yield or suffer; to surrender; to grant; as, to concede the point in question.
        e.g.: He conceded the race once it was clear he could not win.     
    To grant, as a right or privilege; to make concession of.
    To admit to be true; to acknowledge.
    To yield or make concession.

amateur (noun)

    A lover of something.
    A person attached to a particular pursuit, study, or science as to music or painting; especially one who cultivates any study or art, from taste or attachment, without pursuing it professionally.
        e.g.: She is an accomplished amateur woodworker.
    Someone who is unqualified or insufficiently skillful.
        e.g.: The entire thing was built by some amateurs with screwdrivers and plywood.

dilettante (noun)

    An amateur, someone who dabbles in a field out of casual interest rather than as a profession or serious interest.
    A person with a general but superficial interest in any art or a branch of knowledge.

delectable (noun)

    Something fitting the above description.

dabble (verb)

    To partially wet (something) by splashing or dipping; connotes playfulness.
        e.g.: The children sat on the dock and dabbled their feet in the water.
    To participate or have an interest in, but not so seriously.
        e.g.: She's an actress by trade, but has been known to dabble in poetry.

dribble (verb)

    To let saliva drip from the mouth, to drool
    To fall in drops or an unsteady stream, to trickle
    In various ball games, to run with the ball, controlling its path with the feet

saliva (noun)

    A clear, slightly alkaline liquid secreted into the mouth by the salivary glands and mucous glands, consisting of water, mucin, protein, and enzymes. It moistens the mouth, lubricates ingested food, and begins the breakdown of starches.

trickle (noun)

    A very thin river.
        e.g.: The brook had shrunk to a mere trickle.
    A very thin flow; the act of trickling.
        e.g.: The tap of the washbasin in my bedroom is leaking and the trickle drives me mad at night.

tickler (noun)

    A person who or thing which amuses, tickles, excites.
    A reminder.
        e.g.: Put it in the tickler file for next week.
    A latex condom that has additional protrusions, for enhancing the sexual pleasure of the user.

    A thin, pointed, projecting part.
        e.g.: a pitchfork with four prongs
    A branch; a fork.
        e.g.: the two prongs of a river

tine (noun)

    A spike or point on an implement or tool, especially a prong of a fork or a tooth of a comb
    A small branch, especially on an antler or horn

    A severe, formal or official reproof; reprehension, rebuke, private or public.

avert (verb)

    To turn aside or away.
       e.g.:  To avert the eyes from an object.
    To ward off, or prevent, the occurrence or effects of.
       e.g.: How can the danger be averted?

conceive (verb)

    To develop an idea; to form in the mind; to plan; to devise; to originate.
    To understand (someone).
    To become pregnant.
        e.g.: Assisted procreation can help those trying to conceive.

coincide (verb)

    To occupy exactly the same space.
        e.g.: The two squares coincide nicely.
    To occur at the same time.
        e.g.: The conference will coincide with his vacation.
    To correspond, concur, or agree.
        e.g.: Our ideas coincide, except in certain areas.

compel (verb)

    To drive together, round up
    To overpower; to subdue.
    To force, constrain or coerce.
        e.g.: Logic compels the wise, while fools feel compelled by emotions.
    To exact, extort, (make) produce by force.
    To force to yield; to overpower; to subjugate.
    To gather or unite in a crowd or company.
     To call forth; to summon.
