普濟寺:
The building was constructed in 1916 under sponsorship by railway
staffers and community people. It looks with Japanese taste in simplicity
and nobility. A Buddha has been worshiped there to protect the hot
spring industry at Beitou.
善光寺:
The temple was built in 1932. A rock monument for Okamoto Yohachiro
was put in the temple. It was said that the daughter of the Japanese Emperor (Showa)
came to stay there as a nun.
