這首〈日出日落（Sunrise Sunset）〉
是百老匯音樂劇《屋頂上的提琴手（Fiddler on the Roof）》
裡的一首歌，由Jerry Bock 作曲，Sheldon Harnick 作詞。
這個1964年的音樂劇描寫在急劇變化的世界中
力圖維持傳統文化的猶太人Tevye的故事。
這個音樂劇在百老匯演出長達十年之久，
贏得9項東尼獎（Tony Award），包括了：
最佳音樂劇、最佳音樂、最佳導演、最佳原著和最佳編舞等，
1971年搬上銀幕，是當年全球票房收入最高的電影，
電影版的《屋頂上的提琴手》在那一年
也風光地贏得3項奧斯卡金像獎，
包括了最佳改編音樂、最佳攝影，與最佳音響。
在金球獎則得到了音樂/喜劇類的最佳影片與最佳男主角。
