FYI, I read a report from the Economist or TIME that a Chengdu-Lhasa railway is being under contruction, and the report said passengers riding on the future train will be just like riding on roller coasters, oh my goodness. Well, the railway or the already existing Qing-Zang route may be the only ways left for me to visit Xizang. Driving the highway, no way. (BTW, some reports said that in order to get to Lhasa, there are young women want to hitch-hike by exchanging of their bodies. Some other reports also said Lhasa now are swarmed with hawkers who solicit patroage from tourists with shrill demands, and their attitudes are bad. I hope the reports are not true.)
