As usual, yesterday morning we sat our granddaughter in her stroller and walked twenty minutes to a small park with swings, slides, a sand pit, and a patch of lawn to play with. Around the park there are benches beneath shady trees. When we came to the park, I saw nobody in there except a young couple already sat one of the benches, talking. Throughout our stay at the park, an hour or so, I noticed they were just talking and talking, but without any lovey-dovey movements. When we left, they were still sitting on the bench, talking. But from the way they were acting, I couldnt see there were anything serious they were talking about. (I am not a Peeping Tom of the kind, but we were in a small park, and how could my eyes just focus on my granddaughter all the time.)
Well, thats so-called "sweet nothings", meaning "情話綿綿".
