湖湘子弟滿天山。 Mt. Tian was full of his Hunan soldiers.
新栽楊柳三千里， Three thousand Lis of willows they planted
引得春風渡玉關。Brought the spring breeze to blow over Jade Gate.
PS. I first read the poem from the sixth-grade textbook in the elementary school. Without Lord Zuo, most likely we might have lost the whole Xinjiang, and that is unimaginable.
