
Persimmon is one of my favorite fruits. I love the hard ones for their texture of crispness, the soft ones for their taste of tenderness, and the dried persimmon cakes for their sweetness. Regretfully, I cannot enjoy them now because I will leave for Taipei this evening. What a shame it is.
I have told my daughter to come picking them up in due course. She has the specific tool to pick the fruit in high places. See you next year, dear persimmon tree!
