Yesterday I got a piece of message from LINE, saying Greta accused Chinese people of using chopsticks to eat with, and that it absolutely not enviorment-friendly because chopsticks are made of woods from trees. That is ridiculous. I admit that there are chopsticks still made of wood, but most of them are made of bamboo, rather than tree. Besides, the fact is nowadays the majority of chopsticks are made of plastic or stainless steel.
What Greta said just reflects the morbid mindset of western world: arrogance and supremacy of white men over others. Let me tell you Greta, the paper-made stuff such as tissue, napkin, towel, and toilet paper in your household are all directly or indirectly made of trees. Do you know most of Chinese households, including mine, are still applying reusable cloth towel to wipe out almost everything in their houses.
Greta, you had better go back to school to learn more before you keep on remarking any comment that is stupid.
