慕尼黑安全會議（英語：Munich Security Conference, MSC）自1963年以來召開至今，是有關國際安全政策的年度會議。該會議以前的名稱是防禦安全會議（德語：Wehrkundetagung）和慕尼黑安全政策會議（德語：Münchner Konferenz für Sicherheitspolitik）。它是國際上同類會議中規模最大的聚會。
在過去的四十年中，慕尼黑安全會議已成為國際安全政策決策者交換意見的最為重要的獨立論壇。每年都有來自70多個國家的約350位高層人士參加會議，就當前和未來的安全挑戰展開激烈的辯論。 與會者包括國家、政府和國際組織首腦，部長，國會議員以及武裝部隊、科學界、公民社團、商界和媒體的高層代表。
會議每年2月召開。會議地點在德國慕尼黑的拜恩林謝霍夫酒店。第56屆安全會議於2020年2月14日至16日召開。

慕尼黑安全會議主席談華為5G：勿以安全為借口行保護主義之實.其實他是暗中批評美國無法與中國競爭據德意誌廣播電台援引路透社消息報道，德國執政的聯盟黨聯邦議院黨團預計將於本月11日針對這一問題通過一項文件，當中將不包括在5G網絡建設中排除中國供應商的內容。另據英國《金融時報》報道，在此之前，英國已宣布決定允許華為參與該國的5G移動網絡建設。.
美國國防部長埃斯珀在會議上發言，呼籲國際社會要對中國構成的威脅醒覺，直指美國是五角大樓的「頭號關注」，認為歐洲也應該同樣關注中國的威脅。
王毅對埃斯珀的指控加以否認，並表示美國是在抹黑北京，針對中國的指責全屬謊言王毅表示，中美兩國建交40年了，雙方關係中確實存在不少問題，有些是在交往中自然產生的，有些則完全是人為製造的。這些問題的根源在於，美國有些人並不希望看到中國的快速發展振興，尤其不願意接受一個社會主義大國在這個世界上取得成功。但這是不公平的。中國也有發展的權利，中國人民也有過上更美好生活的權利。中國走向現代化，是歷史必然趨勢，代表了人類進步的方向，是任何勢力都不可能阻擋的！
外交部長王毅20200215日在第56屆慕尼黑安全會議上發表演講時，提到新型冠狀病毒肺炎疫情。王毅表示，相信在疫情得到控制後，中國將會「浴火重生」。。
The Munich Security Report 2020 sheds light on the phenomenon that it refers to as "Westlessness" – a widespread feeling of uneasiness and restlessness in the face of increasing uncertainty about the enduring purpose of the West. A multitude of security challenges seem to have become inseparable from what some describe as the decay of the Western project. What is more, Western societies and governments appear to have lost a common understanding of what it even means to be part of the West. Although perhaps the most important strategic challenge for the transatlantic partners, it appears uncertain whether the West can come up with a joint strategy for a new era of great-power competition.
In this context, the Munich Security Report 2020 provides an overview of major security policy challenges and features insightful data and analyses across selected geographic and thematic spotlights. In addition to its role as a conversation starter for the Munich Security Conference, the report series has also become a go-to resource for security professionals and the interested public around the world. .The Munich Security Conference (MSC; German: Münchner Sicherheitskonferenz) is an annual conference on international security policy that has taken place in Munich, Bavaria since 1963. Former names are Wehrkundetagung and Münchner Konferenz für Sicherheitspolitik.[1] It is the worlds largest gathering of its kind.
Over the past four decades the Munich Security Conference has become the most important independent forum for the exchange of views by international security policy decision-makers. Each year it brings together about 350 senior figures from more than 70 countries around the world to engage in an intensive debate on current and future security challenges.
The list of attendees includes Heads of States, Governments and International Organizations, Ministers, Members of Parliament, high-ranking representatives of Armed Forces, Science, Civil society as well as Business and Media.
The conference is held annually in February. The venue is the Hotel Bayerischer Hof in Munich, Germany. The 55th Security Conference was held from 15 to 17 February 2019.

The Munich Security Report 2020 analyzes current security policy developments in China, Europe, Russia and the United States, and furthermore examines regional dynamics in the Mediterranean, the Middle East and South Asia. In addition, it provides insights into the issues of space and climate security, as well as into the threats arising from new technologies and increasingly transnational right-wing extremism.
