    HVCB2010FTD100MLittelfuse has introduced the MITI-7 Series Ultra-Miniature Reed Switch, a Form A (single-pole, single-throw normally open or SPST-NO) switch that’s hermetically sealed in a 7-mm-long glass envelope. The series provides sensitivity options ranging from 6AT to 20AT, far wider than current magnetic switches of similar size, which were limited to a range of just 6AT to 10AT. New automated assembly equipment has enabled the company to boost production capacity for these small-format switches, which aid circuit designers to save space on crowded circuit boards.


    Typical applications for the reed switches include position and speed sensing in a broad array of markets including appliances, building and home automation, consumer electronics, data centres, industrial, and healthcare.

    HVCB2010FTD100M

    The MISM-7, a surface-mount version of the MITI-7, is also offered. Both can switch 170VDC at 10W and provide high insulation resistance (1012Ohms min) and low contact resistance (<150milliOhms).
