１９６２年１月，２４歲的美國義大利裔歌手康妮．法蘭西斯（Connie Francis）推出單曲［Dont Break the Heart That Loves You／別傷愛你的人之心］（MGM唱片發行）

此曲由Benny Davis, Murray Mencher創作．

在康妮父親George Franconero的建議下，Benny Davis, Murray Mencher與法蘭西斯結緣。

他們的想法是將「Tin Pan Alley／叮砰巷」老將Davis和Mencher的技巧與當時流行的音樂風格相結合。

法蘭西斯與Davis和Mencher簽約，讓他們成為自己音樂出版公司法蘭科（Francon）音樂公司的固定作曲家。

Danny Davis, Arnold Maxin製作成一首傳統流行／Easy Listening／抒情曲，

法蘭西斯以二部和聲演唱，歌聲如咖啡般醇厚．
