這也是同名歌舞電影的原聲帶專輯，由Curtis Mayfield譜寫與製作

電影受到惡評, 也不叫座． 

雖然［Sparkle］原聲帶專輯評價好壞兩極，但銷售卻不錯

登上美國Billboard專輯榜＃１８　

副榜──靈魂專輯榜冠軍，拿到金唱片（５０萬張＋）

一掃艾瑞莎前兩張大碟反應失利的陰霾。
