１９６０年９月底出生於伊利諾州芝加哥的米琪霍華（Miki Howard）是美國實力歌手，原名Alicia Michelle Howard．

她是福音歌手Josephine Howard（The Caravans合唱團成員）和Clay Graham（The Pilgrim Jubilees合唱團成員）的女兒。

霍華的母親經常帶她去拜訪艾瑞莎富蘭克林（Aretha Franklin）和Mavis Staples等眾多明星。

１９７９年加入迪斯可／爵士放克團體Side Effect，接替離隊的Sylvia St. James。1980年，蜜姬成為新的女主唱，

１９８５年，霍華決定開Side Effect，開始個人發展。她製作一張樣帶，並因此與Atlantic唱片公司簽約。

１９８６年１１月，２６歲的霍華推出首張錄音室大碟［Come Share My Love／來分享我的愛］（Atlantic唱片發行），

由LeMel Humes主製作（九首歌曲），Peter Scherer參與兩首曲目製作．評價普通．
