第四張錄音室大碟［Country, My Way／鄉村，我的方向］（Reprise唱片發行），

由Lee Hazlewood製作。

大碟登上美國告示牌專輯榜＃４３．

 

首支單曲是［Jackson／傑克遜］（Reprise唱片發行），

Billy Edd Wheeler和Jerry Leiber於１９６３年創作的歌曲。

歌曲講述一對夫妻發現彼此的感情已經「失去激情」，兩人都渴望去“傑克遜”旅行．

關於這首歌所指的傑克遜市究竟是哪個城市，眾說紛紜，但Wheeler表示：「實際上，我並沒有特指哪個傑克遜。我只是喜歡它清脆的輔音發音，而不是像納什維爾那樣柔和的詞。」

雖然Wheeler在創作這首歌時並沒有特指哪個傑克遜，但後來的一些歌手明確指出是田納西州的傑克遜。

 

 

１９６３年， Kingston Trio、Billy Edd Wheele以及Flatt and Scruggs都錄製過這首歌。

１９６７年，此曲憑藉兩個版本達到鼎盛時期：一個是Johnny Cash和June Carter演唱的鄉村單曲，在公告牌鄉村單曲榜上排名第二；
