２００１年底，３２歲的希臘歌壇天后黛絲皮娜范迪（Δέσποινα Βανδή／Despina Vandi）推出第五張個人大碟［Γειά ／Gia／嗨］（雙片專輯）（Heaven Music出版）

由由長期製作人Phoebus主要創作與製作, 登上希臘榜冠軍．

由於多首單曲熱門, 讓［Gia／嗨］大碟推出１１天就認證四白金──至今累計五白金（賣出２０萬套／４０萬張），被視為２０００年代希臘最暢銷專輯．

（一說是安娜維西（Anna Vissi）的［Kavji／吶喊］──７白金＊１７.５萬套／３５萬張）

也名列希臘史上最暢銷大碟Top１０，至今仍是黛絲皮娜事業最受歡迎專輯．

 

另外也登上塞浦路斯冠軍──拿到四白金

土耳其冠軍──拿到金唱片

２００２年並獲頒世界音樂獎最暢銷希臘藝人

２００２年３月, ［Gia］再版發行［Gia + Ante Gia］──包含兩張CD, 一是原版專輯, 一是EP混音單曲［Ante Gia］（收錄五首曲目）

［Ante Gia］打進希臘單曲榜冠軍　拿到雙白金唱片（４萬張）, 為范迪另一張暢銷作品。

 

 

混音單曲EP中的［Simera／Σήμερα／今天］以EP［Ante Gia］首支主打，也是［Gia］所有版本第八首主打推出

２００３年,［Simera］改編成英語版［Cest La Vie／這就是人生］，配合大碟在國際市場發行。

［Cest La Vie］由Phoebus創作，並製作成一首電子流行／合成流行，編曲帶有科幻感，在穩定的節奏中,  黛絲皮娜以溫柔的嗓音詮釋，性感迷人．

 

音樂錄影帶由 Kostas Kapetanidis 執導，在五個不同的場景中，范迪穿著不同的服裝，在純色背景前做一些事情，例如在牆上寫字和彈奏電吉他。

最後，她的四個角色在一個場景中相遇，影片結尾顯示高速公路上超速行駛的汽車。
