１９８０年１２月，法國高蒙影業推出青少年愛情喜劇片［La Boum／派對］（第一次接觸）

這是法國巨星蘇菲瑪索（Sophie Marceau,1966-）的處女作

劇情講述一個十三歲法國女孩如何面對她在新學校的生活，以及處理其家中的問題。

［La Boum］在法國大賣,  觀影人數達到 4,378,500人

國際票房也成功, 歐陸跟亞洲表現良好.

 

電影原聲帶專輯由羅馬尼亞音樂人Vladimir Cosma作曲／編曲／指揮，Cosma＋法國Pierre Jaubert製作

比較特別的是，電影是法語，但原聲帶專輯歌曲全是英語．

其中主題曲［Reality／現實］（Barclay／Polydor／Universal發行）由２７歲的英國歌手理查山德森（Richard Sanderson）演唱

Vladimir Cosma＋Jeff Jordan創作, Pierre Richard Muller製作成一首軟調搖滾抒情曲

旋律悅耳，理查斯文嗓音詮釋溫柔迷人

 

 

因為電影廣受歡迎，［Reality］登上法國單曲榜冠軍　銷售逾１００萬張，拿到白金唱片．

自１９８１年後，由於［La Boum／派對］陸續在各地上映，讓［Reality］１９８１－１９８７年間打入各地排行榜：

西德冠軍　義大利冠軍－白金唱片（６０萬張）　

瑞士冠軍　奧地利冠軍　日本＃１１　比利時＃１６

在歐陸銷售破 ３００萬張

 

［Reality］起初沒收在山德森錄音室專輯中,

直到１９８７年，山德森推出專輯［Reality］（Carrere發行），才正式收錄，並以此名之．
