意大利調味飯基本配方

• 2杯Bob's Red Mill意大利米（不要沖洗大米）
• 6至8杯肉湯，慢煮
• 14盎司新鮮貨冷凍青豆（可選）
• 1/4杯洋蔥，切成末
• 2湯匙無鹽黃油
• 2湯匙橄欖油

洋蔥用黃油和橄欖油在3誇脫的平底不粘鍋中用中火煎炒，直至變軟。加入大米（可選：現在也可以加入青豆）並中火烹調直至大米被完全包覆。加入肉湯，一次性加入半杯，使用木勺不斷攪拌，直至肉湯被吸收。繼續一次性加入半杯肉湯，直至大米變軟並具有奶香味，中間稍微發硬（不一定要用完肉湯）。大約需要花30至35分鐘。起鍋後即可食用。
