（中央社記者葉素萍台北30日電）巴拿馬日前邀請總統當選人蔡英文出席運河拓寬竣工典禮，民進黨發言人王閔生今天說，關於巴拿馬的邀請，「原則上以前往出席為優先考量」，正式確認後，就會向各界說明。
媒體報導，巴拿馬運河拓寬及船閘擴建工程即將竣工，與台灣有邦交的巴拿馬政府已分別邀請兩岸領導人習近平與蔡英文出席6月的慶祝儀式；巴拿馬透露，5月20將接任總統的蔡英文已表達出席意願，就職後將會宣布出席，但1997運河環球會議在北京杯葛下降級為台灣邦交國聚會的陰影再現。
