I went to a dinner held by Lions Clubs. I sat by another single lady, Miss Lin.
My mom and her mom sat at the same table. One woman asked me whether
I wanted to get married or not. I replied that it is very hard for me to find a husband.
After a while, she cried and cried and cried. She was very very sad that
her daughter is going to get married to men in a city within two-hour driving distance.
Then another woman confessed that she cried for half a year after
her daughter got married. I could not see any expression from
Miss Lin's Mom's face. Her daughters were married to men in Canada, Europe, etc.
