當時
我剛剛升國中
雖然家境清寒
三餐溫飽就很慶幸了
更別提是否有零用錢
但很想學人家聽流行音樂
就研究家裡那台老舊的收錄音機
留住想聽的音樂
後來知道
即使是音樂帶成品
側邊貼上膠帶就可以重新錄音
蓋過原來的音樂
拿出父親心愛的音樂帶
還記得是鳳飛飛的''楓葉情''專輯
開始錄ICRT的節目
那時流行的音樂是DISCO
還記得幾乎每天都在放的是
FUNKY TOWN, RING MY BELL...等等排行榜歌曲
你來我家聽不下去
幾天後送來一卷自己從數張不同的黑膠唱片節錄下來的
真正能令人感動的西洋抒情歌曲錄音帶
不愛讀書的我好奇地查閱每一首歌的歌詞
從中揣測你所傳達的深情
常常在晚上九點多放學後的路上
我停站在眷村的街燈下
反覆咀嚼這首歌詞
遙想在外地認真讀書的你
