In mainland China, thousands upon thousands of Christians are arrested and persecuted by the CCP and undergo unspeakably brutal torture. The main character of this film also has a very close brush with death. After being arrested by the CCP for participating in printing books for the church, deranged police officers torture him by locking him in chains, setting police dogs on him, suspending him with handcuffs for four days and four nights, electrocuting him on a tiger chair, and other such tortures. Every time his life is hanging by a thread, he sees Gods wondrous deeds: The police dogs dont attack him, the handcuffs hes hanging from open on their own, and the electricity from the tiger chair doesnt touch him…. This film recounts this persons experience of coming back from the brink of death in that prison of demons.
