但事實不然，最近TVBS民調中心卻顯示總統蔡英文執政滿意度掉到僅有27％、不滿意度48％；行政院長林全的滿意度更只有24％，不滿意度來到50％。對於「一例一休修法案」則有50％的民眾認為「不滿意」。這樣的結果一方面顯示在職場實務上，由於每人對於經濟需求或工作的成就感認知不同，並非所有勞工都想「周休二日」，二方面也顯示由於一例一休新制缺乏彈性，不但對連續式生產的製造業、以及餐飲、旅遊、超商、客運和媒體等服務業衝擊很大，也讓許多中小企業不知如何因應，自然產生民怨。
