當你要感謝台灣人並且要請他們吃飯的時候，通常他們都會客氣地跟你說「不用客氣」，這並不代表他們拒絕你的邀請，而是在台灣的文化裡，馬上答應別人讓他們請客，對他們來說太直接了。所以只要你多邀請他們幾次，他們就會答應你了。
When you want to treat a Taiwanese person to a meal, they will usually say 不用客氣（búyòng kèqì）It doesn't mean they are refusing your treat, because for a Taiwanese person, it would be too direct to accept your invitation so quickly. But, if you only try a few more times, they will accept.
