筆者曾看過一段文字，用英文描寫主要華人世界的特質，一針見血 (尤其最後一句最傳神)。就記憶所及與大家分享如下：

In Singapore you can do nothing unless the law permits.

In China you can do nothing including the law permits.

In Hong Kong you can do anything unless the law prohibits.

In Taiwan you can do anything including the law prohibits.
