the process of changing from one situation, form, or state to another
ex: The author gives an interesting description of a society in transition.

21.intrinsic(adj.)
relating to the essential qualities or features of something or someone
ex: Providing good service is intrinsic to a successful business.

23.deduce(v.)
to know something as a result of considering the information or evidence that you have
ex: The facts can be deduced from an examination of the data.

24.inhibition(n.)
a. a feeling of being embarrassed or not confident that makes it difficult to relax and do or say what you want to
b. the act of inhibiting a process
ex: She had no inhibitions about sleeping with other men.
