1.affectionate/ adjective /əˈfek.ʃən.ət/
showing feelings of liking or love.
e.g. He's an affectionate little boy.

e.g. She smiled affectionately at him.

a description, either true or imagined, of a connected series of events.
e.g. Martha chose her favourite book of bedtime stories.

to walk around slowly in a relaxed way or without any clear purpose or direction.
e.g. He was here a moment ago but he's wandered off somewhere.
13. weed/ noun /wiːd/
any wild plant which grows in an unwanted place, especially in a garden or field where it prevents the cultivated plants from growing freely.

a situation or subject that is being dealt with or considered; a matter.
e.g. She organizes her financial affairs very efficiently.

a measured amount of something such as medicine.
e.g. The label says to take one dose three times a day.

very beautiful or pleasant.

17. mineral/ noun /ˈmɪn.ər.əl/
a chemical that your body needs to stay healthy.
e.g. A healthy diet should supply all necessary vitamins and minerals.
18. profound/ adjective /prəˈfaʊnd/
felt or experienced very strongly or in an extreme way.
e.g. Those two lines of poetry express perfectly the profound sadness of loss.
19. recount/ verb /rɪˈkaʊnt/
to describe how something happened; to tell a story.
e.g. He recounted his adventures since he had left home.
20. rough/ adjective /rʌf/
not even or smooth, often because of being in bad condition.
e.g. It was a rough mountain road, full of stones and huge holes.
If a surface such as paper or skin is rough, it does not feel smooth when you touch it.
e.g. My hands get very rough in the cold.
Rough ground is ground that is not used for any particular purpose and is not even and full of wild plants.
