Ex: Environmental awareness has increased dramatically over the past decade.

a type of product made by a particular company.
Ex: When I go to a supermarket I usually buy own ( US store) brands (= the cheaper products with the shop's own name on them).

to take hold of something, especially something that is moving through the air
Ex: Our dog ran past me and out of the house before I could catch it.
4.disregard/n. /ˌdɪs.rɪˈɡɑːd/
the fact of showing no care or respect for something.
Ex: What amazes me is her complete disregard for anyone else's opinion.

Ex: Just water these plants twice a week, and likewise the ones in the bedroom.

Ex: He bribed immigration officials and entered the country illegally.

a system of accepted beliefs that control behaviour, especially such a system based on morals.
Ex: Publication of the article was a breach of ethics.

a high level of knowledge or skill.
Ex: We admired the expertise with which he prepared the meal.

to bring something into existence.
Ex: She left a large sum of money in her will to found a wildlife sanctuary.

(the use of) a new idea or method.
Ex: The latest innovations in computer technology.

an important job, especially a military one, that someone is sent somewhere to do.
Ex: Your mission is to isolate the enemy by destroying all the bridges across the river.

Ex: There are several reactors of the type in operation (= working) at the moment.
