Ways of saying “Yes” and “No”:

 -) For “yes”– yep /yeah /yup /sure thing/
uh-huh
  I wouldn't / won't say no

   give / get the nod

   I
got the nod from my boss.

  My boss gave me the nod.

  The board just gave me the green light to start the project.

(=allow a project, plan... to begin )

=) For “no” – uh uh /not likely/nope/nah
