Mr. Travis Ryan Jones, DOB:1975/8/17, has been deserting his son Timothy D. Jones (DOB:1998/6/28), a U.S. citizen born in California since 2001.  Mr. Jones holds full custody of his minor son following his divorce under California law, from Ms. Vicky Hsuehman Hsia Jones (DOB: 1965/11/23, who has suffered from cancer since 1999). 

Because of Mr. Jones desertion in 2001, Vicky and Timothy were forced to return to Taiwan seeking help from her parents.   In the past 7 years, Vicky has made all effort to locate Mr. Jones but with no success.

Vicky is now hospitalized in Taiwan, and blinded by brain tumors pressing on the optic nerves.  Timothy is requesting that every effort be made to locate his birth father Travis R. Jones, and requests his travel to Taipei, Taiwan ASAP to see Timothy and to exercise his lawful care and custody of his minor son with high-functioning autism.

Vicky is aware of the complicated custodial implications that could arise from such a visit, but nevertheless desires that her son's wishes should be fulfilled, indeed this is her express desire.
