基隆市長林右昌昨（八）日下午在民政處長王榆森、社會處長涂彬海與七堵區長李吉清等人陪同，前往梵宇天閣余亞舍靈堂上香致意，並致贈復航空難基隆市罹難者家屬慰問金，表示後續將由市府社會處提供家屬關懷與心理支持。
復興航空GE-235班機四日上午墜落基隆河；基隆市府立即清查，獲悉失蹤的四十一歲男子余亞舍的戶籍在基隆七堵區，五日早上由社會處涂處長親往二殯探視家屬，七日中午於下游發現遺體，當日傍晚送回到基隆市殯葬管理所存放大體，並於梵宇天閣設置靈堂。
林右昌市長結束慰問後指出，獲知空難發生後，旋即第一時間派社會處長、民政處長與家屬建立聯繫管道，主動聯繫表達關心致贈慰問金及協助處理。林市長表示，回到基隆就像回到家，他希望死者安心一路好走，後續包括後事等極需協助部分，將由社會處專人全力予以協助。
市府社會處表示，後續將持續由市府社會處及七堵區公所里幹事等提供家屬關懷與心理支持，並協助家屬申辦市民亡故慰問金給付事宜。
