As we know that the 3ds firmware yesterday has been updated to V9.3.0-21, today the gateway 3ds official site has released the news that warning users do not update the 3ds console to this version because the next gateway 3ds firmware will only support V9.2 or below 3ds system version. If you want to use the Gateway 3DS, don’t upgrade your 3DS console firmware number to the 9.3.0-21.Otherwise, you may can’t use Gateway 3DS in the future.

And another good news for us, we can use 3DS Gateway on 3ds/3ds xl system version lower than 9.0 as well in the near future. But, before all of these, there are things you should notice about gateway 3ds card. So make sure your 3ds stay on the 9.2 or lower systems and do not update.

The best method to stop the updating is to turn off the 3ds wifi setting or just delete the internet connect settings.

if your 3ds firmware is V4.6-V9.2 do not worry, just stay there, the gateway 3ds later will release a method to update your 3ds to V9.2, the only thing to remember is do not update online.

We repeat, DO NOT update sysnand to 9.3 or beyond!

We plan to move forward with the additional support for sysnand firmware range 9.0 – 9.2.
For users that did not update yet in this range, do not worry. We will add support for a firmware range lower than 9.0 which can be installed using a gamecard update.
