為了消除大家心裡的疑惑，該網站記者走訪了超市以及烤地瓜專賣店，結果得到的答案是：「待在冷氣吹得涼颼颼的房間裡，人就會想吃熱呼呼的烤地瓜。」原來，夏天室外雖然酷熱，但有些人室內冷氣開到需要披上外套的程度，和冬天幾乎沒兩樣，難怪會想吃熱呼呼的烤地瓜暖身。

買太多吃不完時可以放冰箱，冰過的烤地瓜甜味會增加，綿密的口感還能拿來當點心，只要將烤地瓜壓成泥狀後加入鮮奶油，再將兩者充分攪拌到完全融合，放進冰箱冷凍庫冰個兩小時以上就是一道美味的甜點。
