The opening ceremony for the airport was held on September 25, 2019,^] with the airport opened to the public on September 26, 2019.^[ The first commercial flight landed at Beijing Daxing at 10:12 (UTC+8), September 26, 2019.^[

賀卡中國北京大興國際機場竣工起用

中國北京大興國際機場（IATA代碼：PKX；ICAO代碼：ZBAD）是中華人民共和國北京市大興區的一座大型民用機場，為北京第二座國際機場

機場於2019年9月25日正式投入營運,大興機場在2019年7月1日開始試運轉，2019年9月25日舉行投運儀式]，當天上午11時29分由中共中央總書記習近平宣布投運。由中國南方航空執飛，使用空中巴士A380（B-6139）的CZ3001次航班（飛往廣州白雲國際機場）為大興機場投運後的首個航班。中國聯合航空於2019年9月26日從南苑機場整體搬遷至大興機場。

Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, attended the operation ceremony of the airport on Wednesday morning. 
 

國鐵京雄城際鐵路、國鐵城際鐵路聯絡線等其他正在建設或者規劃中的鐵路將通過新機場並設站^[]。月台設於航廈地下二層。大廳則位於地下一層，設有專用值機櫃檯和安檢通道通往登機門（僅限國內航班）^]。

連接中心城與機場的北京地鐵大興機場線北起草橋站，途經大興新城站^[]終到南端終點站大興機場站^[]。新機場線為中國首條最高速度160公里/小時的城市軌道交通路線，從草橋到新機場運行時間僅需19分鐘。其中草橋站四線轉乘，未來可與10號線、19號線、11號線轉乘。^[]

北京大興國際機場開通後將在大興機場線沿線車站開通城市航廈業務。屆時，乘客如需前往北京大興國際機場即可直接在地鐵站辦理託運行李以及換領登機證等業務。
