Many civilized societies on earth have failed to have 健保. Taiwan's medicare system is envied by nations more developed than us.
Let's cherish, protect what we have!
I was required to buy student group health insurance [relatively inexpensive] while studying in USA. Chinese students can do the same when they come to Taiwan, we should have an inexpensive group insurance for their medical needs.
That's all we can do & no more.
Take a look what happened to Hong Kong's medicare systems after Chinese flooded in, although HK did not 引狼入室 voluntarily.
